Savage Extractor Ejector Kit

I'm sure the Savage extractor kit will work great. What was more impressive was the Tactical Works customer service. My parts were shipped incomplete, and after a call to Tactical Works, they apologized profusely and shipped the remaining parts express with no questions asked. While missing the parts on the first shipment was a bummer, their response was first class! I would definitely do business with them again.

This worked great for me.. i've just tested it with fired brass at this point. I used all the parts at first but it didn't work properly, the extractor had a really hard time locking onto the case, so i used the factory extractor, the supplied ejector, and larger ball and it seems like its working great like that.

I purchased a brand new Savage 110 125th Anniversary model chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. The rifle was beautiful and shot well. However, it would only extract and eject a fired case about 25% of the time. The rest of the time, it would pull the case out of the chamber and loose its grip about halfway through the bolt cycle, leaving the spent cartridge sitting on top of the next round in the magazine.

I purchased this kit and installed the new extractor. Problem solved. I have not yet installed the new ejector, but with the new extractor alone it will now reliably extract and eject 100% of the time.

Savage just needs to buy these extractors from Tactical Works and use them from the factory.

Absolutely improved extraction on my Savage Model 10. I can draw the bolt slowly without dropping the casing on the ammo stack.

My new savage axis 2 in 6.5 Creedmoor wouldn't eject the cases and I was PO'd. I looked around and found Tacticle works and their replacement extractor and ejector kit. I ordered it and it came pretty fast. It took longer to gather the tools than it did to replace the ejector and extractor. I replaced the ball detent and extractor and it worked great with no failures at all. Then I replaced the ejector and spring and it will send the cases spinning out into the way yonder. Outstanding!!!!!!!

Can you put a spot of paint or pen color on your spring. I mixed them up and it took awhile to find your new one.

I installed this in a Savage I've been shooting for over 20 years. I had the factory extractor parts replaced under warranty, and have replaced them a couple of times since, but it never really helped. The weak extraction has been my only complaint with this rifle. I took it out for the first time after installing this yesterday, and was amazed. I actually like my Savage again! Thanks!

I purchased 2 of your Savage Extractor/Ejector kits. One for a M10 .308 and the other for a M110 6.5 CM. Both are rifles i shoot in PRS style matches as well as hunting.
The kits improved the mechanical function on both rifles 100%.

The best upgrade for your savage. It’s especially helpful with shorter cartridges like 300 BLK.

I was growing leary of my extractor not ejecting my .308 cases properly. The Extractor would let go prematurely, dropping the empty case onto the top of the magazine.

Well, this kit is the solution. Extraction and ejection is very positive and the brass gets kicked out clear of the ejection port. With authority. This kit works.

These kits are a good upgrade. Savage 110 variants are often not great on ejection

My Savage 12-FV functions fantastic now. It throws the casings consistently, and has been flawless.
